We provide service and parts for Cummins generators and as well as for other OEM equipment including Hyundai, Shantui, Hitachi, Lugong, Foton and many others. We have invested in a dyno-testing facility with a P2400 piper dyno – a double, bi-directional dual range dynamometer suitable for diesel engines up to 520 BHP and 900 BHP (2150lb/ft) respectively. The stators, shaft and rotors are supported by two roller bearings mounted trunnions with double mechanical seals which are circulated with water all the time. This allows for ‘no load’ testing to be undertaken without damage to the seals. We focus on zero hour rebuilds that involve the use of all new parts except for block, crank, crankshafts and conrods, if found re-usable.

The Cummins C&G technical training centre for Cummins products is certified by Cummins Inc. All instructors are qualified by Cummins Inc and therefore conduct courses in line with the Cummins guidelines and standards. This is with the aim of ensuring availability of trained and qualified technicians to service Cummins engines and generators. The facility is adequately equipped with strip down engines for practical sessions as well as running engines for live trouble shooting. For a successful service intervention, we emphasize the need to get the job right first time and this facility is key to achieving this. The centre serves all customers and dealers across the larger East Africa.
